Not very impressive, sorry. The synths aren't very 8 bit, and those who are so doesn't sound very good. Also the melodies are very chaotic.

FM synths have that really nice quality I've found that I really like working with.
The programs used to make this stuff (TFM Music Maker, and its update, VGM Music Maker) are free, so that makes it even better. :D

Holy damn nipple-licking shit this is neat

The sound here is amazing. It sorta sounds like a pop instrumental mixed with Aphex Twin. Just magical. The melodies are delightful and you are one sonofabitch on those beats.

You don't need a bassline for this song, it works just great as it is. All the frequencies are filled beause of all the reverb and the string ensemble.

Looking forward to hear more of your stuff. You've done a great job.

I've always loved the pacifying sound of an ocarina and this is absolutely beautiful. great job, bro. I also remember this tune very well. Fuck yeah SSBM. I still play that shit on my gamecube.
You could try to have some synths or whatever in the background aswell. That would be frigging awesome. Maybe some string ensemble pad playing chords. That would be amazing
